OFFICE HOURS
Office hours are Mondays through Fridays from 8 am to 5 pm. The earliest appointment is at 8 am, and the latest is at 4 pm for an initial evaluation.

Appointments can be made by calling: 954-414-9750, Mondays through Fridays. We may answer your call directly, however, if unable to reach us directly, please leave your name, phone number and a confidential brief message, and we will return your call as soon as possible.

PREPROCEDURE

Please contact us at 954-414-9750 to make an initial appointment or via our website at Contact Us (link). We will make every attempt to schedule your visit as soon as possible. Once you have confirmed your visit we will expect you in our office fifteen (15) minutes prior to your scheduled appointment to fill registration information prior to your visit with the doctor. Our doctors appreciate the time you take to make your office visit and strive to offer excellent services by providing time to you. In order to do this efficiently, they appreciate your being on time for the visit.

NEUROLOGY - Ms. Fiona Scarlet, our nurse, will take your history and vitals prior to meeting with Dr. Locatelli. An initial appointment with the doctor may take thirty (30) to forty-five (45) minutes and follow-up visits may take twenty (20) to thirty (30) minutes. When a procedure is scheduled, (EEG, EMG, EP, Epilepsy monitoring), you will receive specific instructions prior to your appointment. At any time, please contact us if you have any questions. By the end of your visit, Dr. Locatelli will discuss potential interventions to assist you. If you are coming for a consult, we will be happy to send these recommendations to your treating physician as per your request.

Dr. Corá offers psychiatry services in general psychiatry and, specifically, in mood and anxiety disorders. She offers expert services integrating psychotherapy, psychopharmacology, and healthy lifestyle strategies to maximize well-being. She treats the person as a whole, taking physical, emotional, intellectual, social, and spiritual factors into consideration

PSYCHIATRY - The first visit is based on a Comprehensive, Integrative Evaluation, which usually takes one to two hours. During this time, we will discuss your need for a consultation as well as physical, emotional, intellectual, social and spiritual experiences that may both be helping you or contributing to your challenges. This process will help us better understand you as a person and design a working plan that will hopefully assist you in your recovery and well-being. By the end of this evaluation process, Dr. Corá will discuss potential interventions to assist you, which may include one or a combination of Psychotherapy, Psychopharmacology and Healthy Lifestyle interventions. If you are coming for a consult, we will be happy to send these recommendations to your treating physician as per your request.

POSTPROCEDURE

NEUROLOGY - Dr. Locatelli offers neurology services for evaluations and follow-up treatment. Dr. Locatelli has hospitalization privileges at Holy Cross Hospital , which is across the street from his office. He offers services during office hours from 8 AM to 5 PM, Mondays through Fridays. Calls received after 5 pm will be returned the following business day. The office is closed on holidays.

If you are a current patient of Dr. Locatelli's, and there is an emergency, please give your name, phone number and a brief message and we will respond as soon as possible. If unable to respond or if we are responding to another emergency, please call 911 and/or go to the closest emergency room. We trust your good judgment in deciding whether you are in an emergency situation.

PSYCHIATRY - Dr. Corá offers consulting services for integrative, intensive interventions and follow-up treatment. If you are coming from out-of-state or from another country, please, consider staying in the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale area from 1 to 5 business days to maximize the consultation. Dr. Corá is in the office on a limited basis, she offers consulting services and does not offer crisis intervention, hospitalization, after hours or weekend coverage. Calls received after 5 pm will be returned the following business day. The office is closed on holidays.

FEES & INSURANCE

Doctors Locatelli and Corá have set-up fees for office visits and procedures. Insurance companies' reimbursement differs from company to company. Our office accepts payment via VISA, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express for your convenience.

NEUROLOGY FEES

Doctor Locatelli participates with Medicare, Cigna, Humana, and United Healthcare with additional patient co-pay. In addition, as a service to his patients, Dr. Locatelli accepts  part of the payment from the patient and bills the remaining balance to the insurance company if the patient is "out-of-network" with other health insurance companies.  At times, there may be an additional balance left. If so, it is the patient's responsibility to pay off the remainder of the fee. Please note, each of our patients has specific arrangements with their health insurance carrier. For instance, some insurance companies tend to reimburse the patient directly. In this case, Dr. Locatelli would collect the fee during your visit and would facilitate your direct reimbursement. Dr. Locatelli does not participate with Medicaid. PSYCHIATRY FEES

Doctor Corá is an "out-of-network physician" for all insurance companies thus maintaining her independent physician status. Dr. Corá is not a provider with Medicare or Medicaid. She has set-up fees for office visits and procedures. Insurance companies' reimbursement differs from company to company. Direct payment to Dr. Corá is expected at the time services are rendered. Dr. Corá does not participate in any insurance panel yet she will provide with what you need to be reimbursed by your healthcare provider, if they accept "out-of-network" providers.
